Who can use the CBC Library?

Answer

Anyone can come into either of our Library locations, but there are some requirements on using resources and spaces to keep in mind:

  • CBC students, faculty, emeritus faculty, and staff may borrow library material.
  • Other Washington community college, WSU Tri-Cities, and Heritage University students and faculty may apply for borrowing privileges. Proof of current affiliation is required and some limitations apply; consult library staff for details.
  • CBC retirees and Gold Card holders may apply for borrowing privileges; some limitations apply, consult library staff for details.
  • Community visitors and other university students are welcome to use the library facilities; however, they are not eligible to check out material. Check in at the front desk to use a computer; limitations may apply.
