How do I download EBSCOhost ebooks?
Answer
Video Tutorial https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/Downloading-EBSCO-eBooks-Tutorial?language=en_US
Steps:
1. Use your Google Account to sign in OR Create a My EBSCOhost Account
https://ebsco.libguides.com/ebooks/users
2. Install Adobe Digital Editions
3. Checkout and Download eBooks to Your Computer
https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/Checking-Out-and-Downloading-EBSCO-eBooks?language=en_US
4. Transfer to a Compatible Device.
NOTES:
- When creating a MyEBSCOhost account be sure and use a special character ($*@) - it is super-picky about that.
- If you don't plan to read the whole book, downloading a chapter is *much* easier - you can just download it as a PDF and read with anything that can open one.
- If you have a Kindle Fire you would use Overdrive instead of Adobe; unfortunately regular Kindles are not compatible.
Another Option: Using the EBSCO Mobile App for Ebooks
You can also download the EBSCO Mobile app if you want to download the book and read it on a tablet. This option does NOT require Adobe Digital Editions account.

- Search by zip 99301 to find CBC quickly;
- Off campus, login with CBC ID and PIN;
- Download for 7 days at a time;
- After 7 days, use the "expired titles" list in the App to quickly download again if still available.
